Tarlok has been a partner with Deloitte for over ten years and heads up the UK Retail sector for our Consumer Business Industry Group.  He leads our retail advisory services focusing on performance measurement and process analysis. He is also the Enterprise Risk Services Partner responsible for the UK Governance, Risks & Controls services practice for the North of England. 

Prior to joining the firm Tarlok gained over 10 years experience working in industry.  He has held three senior management positions with Tesco plc as Property Division Chief Finance Officer; Retail Finance Controller and Head of Corporate Audit.  He was Director of Special Projects as well as Director of Commercial Investigations & Audit at ASDA Group plc. Preceding this Tarlok was Director of Business Efficiency looking at business processes, benchmarking, market making and performance improvement. Finally, he was also a Director of Supply Chain.

Tarlok is the lead Retail Finance tutor for the MBA programme for The Institute for Retail Studies at the University of Stirling.  He leads the faculty for the Deloitte Consumer Business Retail Academy in the UK.
