Deloitte is delighted to be the title sponsor for The Sunday Times Buyout Track 100 for the second year running. Buyout Track 100 is a unique league table that tracks Britain’s top 100 companies with the fastest growing profits. The league table ranks companies on their annual growth in EBITDA over the last two years. The companies in this year’s Buyout Track 100 increased their profits by an average 51% over the past years, and employ a total of 86,175 people. Interestingly, some of the most successful companies in the Buyout Track 100 have proven that tightening debt markets are not necessarily a barrier to a successful exit. Further profit growth under new ownership – with the right advice – can still be achieved. At Deloitte, we believe our success is built on forging strong relationships with our clients, some of which are featured in the Buyout Track 100. In 2007 alone, we advised on 55 disposals with an aggregate value of just over £4 billion. This includes one of our largest deals to date, the £783m disposal of Keepmoat Plc to Bank of Scotland Corporate.
