The "Oracle Advanced Benefits Open Enrollment” course enables participants to prepare for and perform open enrollment processes. The course introduces and demonstrates the recommended steps for setting up and running an Open Enrollment using Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB). Participants will practice Open Enrollment setup and usage tasks in a live instance. Course Length Two days Intended Audience
The intended audience includes anyone responsible for configuring and administering Oracle Advanced Benefits for Open Enrollment. Example participant roles include Benefit managers and administrators, Super Users, functional analysts and technical analysts. Prerequisites
Participants should be familiar with navigation within Oracle applications and Oracle Advanced Benefits in particular. Knowledge of internal open enrollment requirements and internal benefits processes supported by the system is strongly encouraged. Target Skills

- Identify and perform the steps necessary to complete an Open Enrollment with Oracle Advanced Benefits including, but not limited to:
- Configuring the dates and processing logic for the Open Enrollment processing

- Adding new plans and end others
- Modifying rates and premiums
- Starting new coverage for Flexible Spending Accounts
- Running all of the Open Enrollment processes
- Explaining how and why to run a mock Open Enrollment
- Knowing how to process other life events that occur during and after Open Enrollment
- Recognizing reports that are central to the Open Enrollment period
- Resolving action items and certifications
- Recognizing when overrides can assist with enrollment
- Discuss the use of Self-Service Benefits for Open Enrollment processing
- Examine the Oracle-delivered reports that can benefit Open Enrollment
