The “Oracle Discoverer 10g Web Report Specialist" course focuses on basic Discoverer Reports skills and effective Discoverer report writing techniques using the Web version of Discoverer. The course includes the Discoverer fundamentals of creating and modifying a report (query) along with additional features such as: formatting a report, using conditions, calculations and parameters, sharing a report, exporting a report to an Excel spreadsheet, and changing settings and options. When circumstances permit, reports will be generated in the client’s environment. Course Length

The intended audience includes those responsible for writing Oracle Discoverer 10g reports. Participants could be functional Super Users, Discoverer Reports Administrators and Developers. Prerequisites
Participants should be familiar with Oracle 11.5.10 HCM configurations and data. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is helpful, and knowledge of internal report requirements is encouraged. Target Skills At the end of this course, participants will be able to: - Explain the components and basic terms of the Discoverer reporting tool, including:
- HCM Schema
- Discoverer End User Layer (EUL)
- Explain how end users access reports using Discoverer Viewer
- Explain the difference between the Discoverer roles
