Oracle Training: Administering Oracle Learning Management
Syllabus

The "Administering Oracle Learning Management (OLM)” course prepares learners to use the administrative functions of OLM to manage training processes from catalog setup to course delivery and attendance tracking. 

Course Length
Three days

Intended Audience
The intended audience includes those responsible for performing and supporting training processes. Anyone who will manage courses or content in the system will benefit from this course. Example participant roles include Business Analyst, Training Administrator, Course Developer and Instructional Designer.

Prerequisites
Participants should be familiar with navigation within Oracle 11.5.10 applications. Knowledge of internal training processes currently or to be supported by the system is encouraged.

Target Skills

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain OLM’s Category, Course, Offering and Class content structure
  • Define and configure delivery modes
  • Set up courses, offerings, classes and sessions
  • Manage enrollments
  • Manage resources
  • Import and upload content
  • Create Question Banks
  • Create and Offer Tests and Surveys
  • Create Learning Paths
  • Explain the cross-charging functionality and set up courses to apply cross-charging rules
  • Explain Learner Access rules and apply them to course offerings
  • Use the Self-Service Interfaces (Learner, Manager and Instructor) to access the system
