As a result of the success of the local initiative, Louis was appointed as executive director of the global firm’s Service Innovation Board in 1999 and served in this capacity also on the global firm’s Audit, Accounting & Advisory businesses’ Directorate.

Since 2001, Louis has been servicing a number of large multinational clients in the area of growth strategy and innovation process.

He is also the global leader for Deloitte Innovation & Sustainable Growth.

Louis is regarded as a thought leader on radical innovation by the global business and technology think-tank, FutureWorld.  He frequently speaks around the world on this topic and has authored a number of publications that highlight the causal links between total shareholder returns, revenue growth and innovation.
