Deloitte is well along the path of becoming a corporate lattice organization, implementing mass career customization™ for approximately 20 percent of employees across its U.S. businesses this fiscal year with the remainder of the U.S. workforce following next fiscal year. Prior to the implementation of MCC, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP piloted MCC for two years. The pilot objectives included: - Ensuring continued client value and satisfaction
- Quantifying the impact of MCC on various talent models
- Supporting a cultural shift in acceptability of career customization
- Improving practitioner satisfaction and commitment
- Increasing retention of high talent
- Creating a sustainable, scalable model
Deloitte’s findings provide evidence of a strong, affirmative trend: Client response is positive; morale, productivity and retention are improved; and employees expressed increasing satisfaction with career-life fit. Also, it is significant to note that MCC did not open the floodgates for decelerated careers—some workers even wanted accelerated careers. In addition to rolling out mass career customization to our U.S. businesses, we are also helping our clients adopt mass career customization.
