Building on extensive experience in the retail sector, Deloitte worked closely with senior management at Millers Retail and The Warehouse Group to develop a strategy for sale and integration of the discount variety business of Millers Retail and the Australian operations of the Warehouse Group.
The combined business had a retail footprint of over 450 stores across Australia and revenues in excess of $1bn.
Additionally, Deloitte developed vendor due diligence reports on the two businesses and the potential synergies available from a business combination, which was subsequently provided to bidders.
Deal value: $200 million
