| | General Requirements | Participants can be public or private, and encompass all technology industry segments including: Biotech/Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment, Telecommunications and Networking, Computers/Peripherals, Internet, Semiconductors, Components and Electronics, Media and Entertainment, Software, and Greentech. The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific program is determined through nominations, public company research and Deloitte Technology Fast 50 country programs in Asia Pacific.
| | Eligibility criteria | To participate, a technology company must meet the definitions and requirements as outlined below. - Be in business a minimum of three years.
- The company must be considered a technology company defined as:
- Owning proprietary technology, technology intensive or using unique technology to solve problems.
- Producing technology or manufacturing a technology related product
- Devotes a significant proportion of revenues to technology research and development.
- It must be headquartered in Asia Pacific or be listed on an Asia Pacific stock exchange (Subsidiaries or divisions of non-Asia Pacific companies are not eligible, unless they have some Asia Pacific public ownership and trade separately.)
- Operating revenues must be at least USD$50,000 in the first year of the three years being analyze
| | Nomination procedures | To enter the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2009 program, please complete the nomination form by 31 July 2009 and submit along with your last three financial year end (FYE) audited financial statements, to the Deloitte office in Asia Pacific.
