Jane is the Manufacturing Industry Leader for the UK, and has been a partner at Deloitte since 1986.

Jane was recently named as one of the UK manufacturing industry’s 50 most influential people according to a survey published by The Manufacturer Magazine. Lodge is one of only two women listed in the ranking, which includes industry leaders, academics, consultants and lobbyists. The ‘Power 50’ was drawn from a shortlist of 150 and Deloitte is the only advisory firm represented on the list.

Based in Birmingham, at the heart of UK Manufacturing, Jane has spent her entire career with Deloitte advising leading manufacturers around the world on the most prominent issues that impact the performance for the industry.

Throughout her career as an audit partner, Jane has advised major companies in all sectors but especially manufacturing and the financial services sector, with particular expertise in the acquisition of companies in Europe and the United States.

Jane holds a portfolio of firsts: Not only was she one of the first female partners to be appointed, Jane was also the first female partner on the UK Board of Partners, and her appointment as Manufacturing Industry Leader again makes her the first woman to occupy this role in the UK.

Jane is also a member of the CBI Manufacturing Council and a board member of Birmingham Forward. Jane was awarded Midlands Business Woman of the Year in 2001 and the West Midlands Society of Chartered Accountants Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003.
