DENVER, Oct. 24, 2008 — Circadence Corporation of Boulder tops the list of the fastest-growing companies in Colorado as recognized by Deloitte at a chief executive officer reception held October 23, 2008, at the Denver Art Museum. The “Colorado Technology Fast 50,” an annual award program, ranks technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in Colorado by percentage revenue growth over five years.
“The companies named to Deloitte’s Colorado Technology Fast 50 list have demonstrated the vision, tenacity and strength to succeed in today’s very competitive technology environment,” said Kurt Randall, Deloitte Tax LLP, chair of the 2008 Colorado Technology Fast 50. “We applaud their successes as the few to achieve these impressive growth rates over the past five years.”
Companies are selected based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2003 to 2007. To be considered, Technology Fast 50 entrants must: have operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and at least $5,000,000 in 2007; be headquartered in Colorado; own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of its operating revenues, or devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify. Subsidiaries and divisions are not eligible, unless they have some public ownership and are separately traded.
The 2008 Colorado Technology Fast 50 company ranking is as follows:
