The Canadian Consulting practice launched the “Call for papers” contest in 2008, soliciting papers that address important challenges facing Canadian businesses. The contest invited Deloitte’s Canadian consultants to submit papers that demonstrate creative, compelling and practical solutions to topical issues across a broad range of industries. A panel of Deloitte partners judged the papers and, after difficult deliberation, selected four prize winners and six honourable mentions.

2nd PRIZE: The world is your think tank: Transform Idea Flow into Cash Flow with an integrated Finance-HR Innovation Team, by Alan Wunsche.
3rd PRIZE: Dr. Schumpeter comes to the capital: Creative Destruction in Public Spending, by Todd Cain and Paul Witherow.
4th PRIZE: More talk … more action: Multi-party strategic planning in the public sector, by Andrew Medd and James Gordon.
