The Daegu branch of Society's Welfare Fund Collaboration had been offering 100,000W scholarship money every month to a student chosen from KyeoungMyeoung Women's Middle School.

Every year the lucky student is chosen by the recommendation of the school's principal. This year in 2008, that student was Min Ji Kwon.

Last year in January 14th 2007, the company contributed KW 1,200,000 of the Matching Fund (money offered and reserved by the company for volunteers) to 10 girls in KyeoungMyeoung Women's Middle school to their lunch money.

Chairman of the Daegu branch, Sung-ho Choi, said hopefully with a smile, "All we did was deliver small acts of kindness from every employer of the branch. […] We hope to become an affectionate group that fulfills its role in the society by sharing with our neighbors."
