The eligibility criteria of the registered companies for the ranking are verified by Deloitte representatives through comparison of the companies’ revenues disclosed in the financial statements, provided by the applying companies. Deloitte does not audit the companies, neither does it analyze their financial standing.

Category - Technology Fast 50 Central Europe
Participants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a technology company, defined as follows:
  • an owner of proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues;
  • a company that devotes a significant portion of revenues to research and development of technology.
• Must have operating revenues of at least €50,000 (revenue must be accounted on a consistent basis during a period of five years).
• Must be a company that has been in business for a minimum of five years.
• Must have an ownership structure that excludes majority-owned subsidiaries of foreign strategic entities.
• Must be headquartered within one of the Central European countries participating in the program.

Category - Rising Stars
For consideration in the Rising Star category, a company must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a technology company defined as follows:
  • an owner of proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues;
  • a company that devotes a significant portion of revenues to research and development of technology.
• Must have operating revenues of at least €30,000 (revenue must be accounted on a consistent basis during a period of three years).
• Must be a company that has been in business for a minimum of three but less than five years.
• Must have an ownership structure that excludes majority-owned subsidiaries of foreign strategic entities.
• Must be headquartered within one of the Central European countries participating in the program.
