Australia
Working together for the kids’ Red Nose Day is Deloitte Australia’s national major annual fundraiser. On June 29, 2007, more than AU$77,000 (approximately US$68,000) was raised to provide bereavement support to families whose children have died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), to provide safe sleeping education to the community and to fund research.

Indonesia
Starting in 2006, Deloitte Indonesia has celebrated IMPACT Day with a blood drive in cooperation with the Jakarta chapter of the Indonesian Red Cross. This year's blood drive was held on June 26, 2007. More than 100 people began lining up in the early morning to donate. The donors were greeted by volunteers from Deloitte Indonesia and evaluated by Red Cross officials. "Even though it only takes 10 minutes to draw someone's blood, it's a significant contribution," says Dorothea Henny, Human Resources partner, Deloitte Indonesia. "Every second, someone in Indonesia needs blood. By conducting this blood drive, Deloitte Indonesia renewed its commitment to the community. Although the amount of blood may seem small compared to the country's total population, every small step makes a difference."

Philippines
For this year's IMPACT Day, the Philippines member firm chose to volunteer its time and resources to a Habitat for Humanity site building in the FTI Complex of Tagug City. Leadership, staff and professionals collectively labored on family town homes to be distributed among the area's formal and informal settlers. Habitat for Humanity Philippines' Kristine Gonzales shares, "Habitat for Humanity Philippines' vision is to make the world a place where everyone has a decent place to live. Instead of giving them fish, we want to teach them how to fish so that they can eventually rise up from their plight, which will help eradicate poverty."

Singapore
On July 27, 2007, more than 200 of Deloitte Singapore's people made their way to the Boys' Town Home in Upper Bukit Timah, where they spent the day improving the premises by cleaning, painting and redecorating certain parts of the home. Chaly Mah, CEO, Deloitte Singapore, said, "This was indeed a meaningful project for our IMPACT Day. By contributing our time and resources, we were able to make a direct impact on the lives of the youths who live there. At the same time, this makeover will raise awareness about this home with staff, and it kicks off our community partnership with Boys' Town Home for the next 12 months."
