Christmas Survey 2007
Deloitte’s Year End Holiday Survey 2007
Christmas

The spirit of Christmas is here again. For the 9th consecutive year, Deloitte presents its annual research report titled "Holiday Survey 2007", which focuses on Europeans retail spending and trends that are expected this holiday season. The questions primarily focus on the current shopping sentiment prevailing in Europe. More specifically, the questions try to identify whether consumers exhibit optimism or pessimism regarding the current economic climate through their spending habits. One question of importance is if Santa Clause will bring gifts for everyone.

The Survey was conducted in 20 countries from the EMEA region. The Survey was conducted in parallel, using similar methods, in Scandinavia, in the UK and in the USA. Greece was included in this Survey for a second time. The Survey was conducted through the Internet and telephone, and the age of those who participated was 18 years and older.
