Results of cleantech sector survey by Deloitte and Ogilvy Renault
What institutional investors are saying about this emerging sector

Concerns about climate change have forced corporations and their stakeholders to devote more attention to the "green" movement. As a result, investors are also monitoring the cleantech sector more closely, along with its opportunities and risks.

Deloitte and law firm Ogilvy Renault surveyed the Canadian investment community about its participation in and expectations for the cleantech sector.

While interest in this emerging sector is high, there is some hesitation as clean technologies are still in the early stages of development and commercialization. However, investors are watching the developments and have identified the subsectors that seem most promising. The majority of respondents anticipate increasing their cleantech investment portfolios further in the coming year.
