Our objective is to be one of the leading firms in the UK in the field of Corporate Responsibility.  Quality has always been core to our business and, while we will never be complacent, we are confident that our approach is robust and coherent.  In recent years we have been externally recognised for significant progress in the areas of Our People and Community and Society.  Our Environmental Impact, while not neglected, has not until recently been a key element of our approach to Corporate Responsibility.

Our priorities for the coming financial year will be:

• To ensure a fully integrated approach within the firm, led at the Executive Group level and supported by dedicated senior resource.
• To consolidate and develop the firm’s approach to environmental issues and its carbon footprint.
• To develop an integrated approach to managing the impact of the firm in its marketplace.
• To set quantifiable targets for the firm, particularly in the area of environmental impact.
• To publish our first Corporate Responsibility Report as a companion document to our Annual Report.
