Risk Transformation
Financial institutions have experienced significant change in both their regulatory environment and the businesses in which they operate. In response to this, financial institutions are assessing whether their risk governance structures, operating models, methodologies and technology infrastructure are adequate and able to support their business strategies and future growth plans. Our risk transformation teams work with clients across the investment, wholesale and retail banking sectors to support clients in defining and delivering major risk transformation programmes.

Compliance Transformation
In response to increasing regulation and the associated complexity and cost which this creates, financial institutions are under intense pressure to change the way they manage compliance. Transforming the compliance function from a protectionist to value creating provider of services can enable costs to be reduced, regulatory expectations to be met, customer service and confidence to be enhanced and ultimately shareholder value to be improved. Our multidisciplinary compliance transformation teams work with clients to redesign the compliance function to meet the demands of the future. Our compliance teams also support clients in obtaining regulatory authorisation for new businesses, managing regulatory changes (e.g. Basel II, Solvency II and Treating Customers Fairly).

Finance Transformation
The Finance function has undergone an unprecedented amount of change over the last 3 years, driven largely by Regulation. The focus looking ahead, however, is changing and is no longer solely focused on controls and stewardship, but also on providing effective business partnering including interpretation of data, analysis and advice. This is leading many Finance functions to embark on major Transformation Programmes.
