Global Energy & Resources sponsored the FT's inaugural Global Energy Leaders Summit. Held in London on June 19-20, the conference was chaired by Deloitte's global energy leader, Chris Nicholson.

The plenary session began with Securing our Future: The 21st Century Challenge for the Energy Industry, a discussion on energy security, followed by Climate Change and Carbon Pricing debates. Day One ended with delegates' choice of either a power or an oil and gas breakout followed by a closing plenary on business critical issues.

Day Two offered New Routes for Value Creation and Financing our Future Energy Needs, with power and oil and gas streams. Global Oil & Gas Leader Peter Newman led a panel discussion on What Will Leadership Look Like for the Global Energy Industry?
