James Douglas 

James Douglas, Debt Advisory Partner

James joined Deloitte’s debt advisory business in 2005 following seven years at JP Morgan Cazenove where he worked in Corporate Finance focusing on debt advisory assignments for FTSE 350 companies. During this period James advised UK companies on fund raising for acquisitions, refinancing and restructuring. Prior to this James worked in Debt Capital markets for ABN AMRO where he was responsible for European Derivative Sales. He also spent 6 years trading derivatives for ABN AMRO, Abbey National Financial Products and Barings. James qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross and is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Fenton Burgin, Debt Advisory Partner

Fenton has more than 20 years banking experience advising both private and public companies on debt capital markets in the UK and continental Europe. Fenton's previous clients range from major investment grade corporations to smaller entrepreneurial private companies. Fenton joined Deloitte’s debt advisory business in early 2008 from Close Brothers Corporate Finance where he was a Managing Director responsible for setting up Close Brothers debt advisory business advising private equity owned and FTSE 350 companies on public and private debt capital markets. Prior to 1998, Fenton worked in Schroders Financing and Structured Products Division advising primarily investment grade corporates on debt. Fenton joined Schroders from Lloyds TSB Capital Markets. Fenton is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a History Graduate from Nottingham University.
