Teach For America recruits outstanding recent college graduates of all majors and career interests to commit two years to teach in urban and rural schools, and become lifelong leaders in the effort to expand opportunity for all children. Teach For America has become one of the largest interventions in public education, and has been recognized for the impact its teachers have on student achievement and for building a pipeline of leaders committed to educational equity and excellence.
