In its recently released 2008 Survey of Health Care Consumers, the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions asked Americans what they thought about health care and its impact on politics, the national primaries and public policy. The results made Deloitte researchers sit up and take notice - and not just the Center, but the national media, too. Paul Keckley, the Center's executive director, discussed the issue of health care as a critical electoral factor during a live segment March 3, 2008 on the "Money for Breakfast" program, broadcast on Fox Business Network. The issue was what voters in Texas and Ohio might be thinking about health care as they prepared to vote the next day in the Democratic and Republican primaries, based on the survey's findings.
