Deloitte Legal advises HANNOVER Finanz on the acquisition of a minority interest in Appmatics GmbH

A Hanover-based Deloitte Legal team led by Corporate/M&A partners Dr. Harald Stang and Dr. Maximilian Habel has advised HANNOVER Finanz on the acquisition of a minority stake in the digital quality assurance expert Appmatics GmbH.

HANNOVER Finanz has acquired a 40 percent stake in Appmatics GmbH as part of a growth financing deal. The two founders and managing directors of Appmatics GmbH, Christian Groebe and Ayk Odabasyan, retain a total stake of 60 percent and will continue to develop Appmatics together with HANNOVER Finanz.

The Hanover-based private equity house HANNOVER Finanz has for years regularly relied on the expertise of the Deloitte Legal team in Hanover, as proven by numerous transactions involving PE investors and medium-sized companies, such as the investment of HANNOVER Finanz in the portfolio companies First Climate AG, Hübers Verfahrenstechnik Maschinenbau GmbH and Kretz + Wahl GmbH & Co. KG. In the Appmatics transaction, the Deloitte Legal team was engaged to perform a legal due diligence, in the areas of corporate law, labor law, commercial law and IP/IT.
