The TP Tool is a tool for easy and efficient preparation of the defence file for a given tax year for the purpose of proving the tax deductibility of costs (substance and benefit tests) related to the intra-group services received. The application also allows for an active participation of both the recipient and the service provider.

The application facilitates timely and continuous preparation of evidence and therefore reduces the risk of additional tax or related interest and fees assessment. Both the recipient and the service provider may be involved in the preparation. The active use of the application is ensured by a system of notifications that regularly notify the user about the need to collect evidence. A validation process during and at the end of each tax year thus motivates the user to collect evidence relating to the tax year in a complete and timely manner.

The application offers a categorisation according to the type of services received, with each category being fully customisable based on the client’s needs.

In addition to the approval process, the three-level user structure of a “processor” and two “approvers” also allows the assignment of individual user access to selected categories of services received.
