About us

Deloitte provides advisory services in strategic business management, audit, tax, legal and financial advisory to a wide range of large companies, public institutions and fast-developing firms.

In the Czech Republic, the services are provided by Deloitte Advisory s.r.o., Deloitte Audit s.r.o., Deloitte BPO a.s., Deloitte Security s.r.o. and Deloitte Legal s.r.o., solicitors, jointly referred to as "Deloitte Czech Republic", which are affiliates of Deloitte Central Europe Holdings Limited.

The combination of local market knowledge with deep international experience allows us to provide our clients with a comprehensive and, at the same time, individual approach to solve their needs and requirements. Deloitte provides its prime services wherever its clients need them and uses its offices in Prague, Brno and Ostrava in its activities.

Deloitte Czech Republic employs approximately 750 nationals and expatriates who are led by 33 Partners. The responsibility for managing Deloitte Czech Republic rests with the Office Managing Partner.

Key milestones

2013

Deloitte starts cooperating with the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Brno University of Technology to support innovative computer methods applied in art; the project is entitled "Innovation in Art."

2011

As of 1 July 2011, Ambruz & Dark becomes part of Deloitte network as a law office cooperating exclusively with Deloitte Legal.

2010

Deloitte starts providing real estate services via a newly-established Real Estate team.

2010

Deloitte Czech Republic expands its offer of legal services by establishing a new law office, Deloitte Legal.

2010

Deloitte has become the largest audit and advisory services firm worldwide.

2009

Initiation of the "Art of Success" project.

2008

The number of Deloitte employees increased to 700.

2007

A new branch is opened in Brno.

2005

The number of Deloitte employees increased to 400.

2005

Deloitte moves into the new offices in Prague-Karlín.

2005

The third office is opened in Moravia, this time in Ostrava, to better satisfy the needs of its clients in the region. This office replaced the office in Olomouc.

2003

Deloitte & Touche changes its business name to Deloitte.

2001

Beginning of cooperation with Editel.

1999

The firm merges with IDOM.

1996

Expansion of offices at Týn following a rapid increase in the number of employees.

1996

Expansion of services in the Moravia region.

1995

Deloitte has nine partners and 260 employees.

1990

The Czech national branch of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu opens its office in Prague, which has five employees.
