Fiona Kirkpatrick Parsons

Fiona resides and works in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a Senior Manager / kā-nīkānīt (Cree word for "the lead / the one in front") with Deloitte Indigenous. Her role is to help guide efforts of the firm regarding services provided to Indigenous businesses and communities and act as a champion of Deloitte’s reconciliation efforts, with both internal and external audiences. She began working for the firm in January 2016, leading the firm’s Atlantic Marketing team for more than 4 years, following a lengthy career in the communications and marketing profession, crossing many industries in both public and private sectors as well as in media. As a member of Lac La Ronge First Nation, Treaty 6 Territory with both Woodland Cree and Scottish ancestry, she is passionate about reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. She is also Chair of the North American Indigenous Games, a Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business Board Director, and named by Atlantic Business Magazine as one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business.
