Business Sentiment Index

Do great minds think alike?

Publish date:

Barometer

Mike Barrington, CEO of Deloitte Central Europe says:
“The DBSI is a much-needed addition to the business information portfolio of the region. Its findings highlight the value of gathering the views of business leaders from across Central Europe to accurately gauge their outlooks for the economy and their enterprises.”

Cautious optimism is the heartening finding of Deloitte's first Business Sentiment Index – a research-based analysis of the opinions and predictions of Chief Executive Officers of the largest companies within six countries of Central Europe.

The index aims to provide a regular barometer of business sentiment in the region and provide insightful forecasts from those who influence not only their company's performance but also that of their local economies. Deloitte will be publishing the index regularly in 2009/10 as this is of particular interest as we start to think seriously about individual country's strategies for recovery and the significance of assistance from the EU and inclusion in the Eurozone for many of the countries in Central Europe.
