Sandra Sweeney leads Deloitte’s Australian Sports Practice. Based in Canberra, Sandra has worked with professional sport, national sporting organisations, peak bodies, government sports entities and community sport throughout her career. Bringing her skills as a marketer and technologist, and her knowledge of the Australian sports ecosystem, Sandra has a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing sport over the next decade and leads a team of sports specialist that are focused on maximising the green and gold runway as a catalyst for transformation in sport.
She has a life-long love of sport having been a high-level netball player, and now a rower, and President of her community rowing club, Canberra Rowing Club. She is a passionate advocate for the value of sport, the positive impact that it has on individuals and communities.
