Olindo Shehu

Olindo commenced his journey with Deloitte US back in 2004, where he gained valuable professional and managerial expertise. In 2009, he joined Deloitte Albania and Kosovo, where he established the Tax and Legal function, and led its significant growth over the past decade. Together with the partner team in both countries, Olindo has focused the strategy of the firm on service innovation and human capital development. His vision has contributed to Deloitte becoming the lead provider of tax and legal services in Albania and Kosovo, and an employer of choice for young aspiring professionals.

Over the past two years, Olindo has led the Deloitte Central Europe Business Services Center in Rzeszow, Poland, where he has successfully reformed the center’s governance and operational structures. As an integral part of his leadership role, Olindo has initiated and implemented successful impact programs that have helped foster stronger bonds between the center and the community, which in turn have boosted employee morale and talent retention.

As of June 2020, Olindo is the Chief Operating Officer of Central Europe, leading and overseeing the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of 44 offices located in 18 countries

Olindo obtained his bachelor and master degrees in the US. He is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Olindo is an avid reader, writer and public speaker. He continuously engages in major socio-economic debates that challenge existing preconceptions about business, technology, and education. He is fluent in Albanian, English, Italian and Turkish. Olindo is married and has three daughters.
